But I Trusted You, Part 2

We desire companionship. We desire a connection. A bond that allows us to be ourselves freely in the company of a like-minded individual. We appreciate mental connections that stimulate us and motivate us to think beyond our norm. We desire spiritual connections that inspire us and encourage us to elevate our faith.

We look forward to the excitement of exchanging thoughts and ideas. We desire comfort. And we hate loneliness. Something about being human makes us want to connect with other humans. And as we’re learning to navigate through life we increase in wisdom. We gain a deeper understanding of the purposes of these connections and a better understanding of how to develop, maintain, and even end them when their time has come. There’s nothing wrong with trusting another. Just be wise in the “who”, “how”, and “why”.
